Passion and action can eradicate change. Laynatreell Allen is on a mission to be a part of that change.  She is a 2017 graduate of California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB). There she received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, with an emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Business Administration.  Her strong connection with children and families stem from having great teachers throughout the duration of her schooling, and is what led her to obtain an A.S. degree in Child Development and Family Relations at Bakersfield College (BC) two-years prior. 

While attending CSUB, Laynatreell was inducted into the National Society for Leadership and Success and received the National Leadership Engagement Award.  She was a part of the Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society, and selected as president of the 2017 induction ceremony.  She was selected to submit a written rebuttal essay for Roughneck Review at Bakersfield College titled, “What’s the Solution.”  When viewing challenging situations, Laynatreell believes the solution and how to achieve it should be everyone’s focus.

Her experience working with children and people was established from an early age.  Over the years, she has worked as a Recreational Leader at Recreations and Parks, an Assistant Teacher at Community Action Partnership of Kern, and a Supplemental Instructor for ENSL student for the Kern Community College District.  Currently Laynatreell works inPublic Relations for Stop Abuse for Everyone.

She volunteered as the Children’s Ministry Director at Pleasant View Church for three-years. There she created the Children Church program and monthly curriculum, as well as, conducted monthly teacher meetings. Other volunteer services include organizing events, such as the Friday Night Live Bash and back to school fundraisers.

She is skilled in editing programs such as Pages, Microsoft Office, Final Cut Pro, and Keynote.  She is proficient in creating brochures, press releases, public service announcements, media alerts, and other traditional and new media. Laynatreell has also organized speaker’s bureaus for organizations, such as Family Reunion and the Kern Community District.

She was a speaker at the women’s conference entitled, “Unrestricted Power,” and has experience publicly speaking in the Kern and Fresno Counties.
