“…A male domestic abuse charity has seen the number of men calling its helpline soar by a staggering 60% in a year. Men’s Aid Ireland gets up to 30 calls a day from men from all walks of life – including members of the Defence Forces and the Garda. CEO of the organisation, Kathrina Bentley, said the level of physical and mental abuse, and coercive control, they are hearing about is truly shocking..”
