Carol Rhonda is currently a Ph.D. researcher based at Ulster University. She gained a 1st Class Hons Degree in Social Psychology in 2013 from Ulster and completed a Masters in Research with Distinction (MRes) in 2014. Carol Rhonda has been investigating interpersonal poly-victimization over the life course and the cumulative negative mental health impact on male populations. Interpersonal victimizations are specific experiences perpetrated for the most part, by people the victim knows whom they are likely to have some familial or attachment relationship to. This includes adverse childhood experience, dating violence, and intimate partner violence, stalking, bullying and elder abuse among others. Carol Rhonda publishes her research in peer-reviewed journals.
Carol Rhonda is currently the Team Lead of the RESPECT Network, a collaborative all-Ireland multi-disciplinary research group with the aim of promoting safe relationships for all http://www.respectnet.org/. She is also a member of the newly formed (UK) Domestic Violence Against People Research Network.
