Northland Man Helps Neighbor Sweating Through Dangerous Heat

“GLADSTONE, MO (KCTV) –One Northland man has rallied to help his neighbor during this sweltering heat wave.

‘I think it’s been harder on my dog than anything,’ Larry Crouse said.

For more than a year, Crouse’s AC unit in his Gladstone home has been on the fritz, but to fix it was just too much.

When it hit 100 degrees this week, his neighbor, Roger Henkemeyer, noticed Crouse had no AC running and just the windows raised. And he couldn’t sit back and worry any longer. …”
