Oregon AG wants funds for elder abuse unit

“… Rosenblum says reports of elder abuse have gone up significantly. In 2013, DHS received nearly 30,000 reports of elder abuse. In 2014, that jumped to more than 38,000. Rosenblum says that could be due to an increase in reporting, or an increase in the elderly population. Either way, she wants to help local District Attorneys prosecute more criminals. …”
